Suicide Squad guys on a mission to defeat brain-washed Superman.
All gamers who are at the same time DC fans were really hyped up last month because the company that gave us the great Batman: Arkham series, Rocksteady, made an announcement about their plans to deliver one more game based on the comics soon.
Because of DC FanDome, we have the details about the date of the release. Sadly, it’s not going to happen until 2022.
At the recent online conference, we saw the first trailer for the shooter. The brand-new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features such DC star characters as Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, as well as King Shark, who get an order from Amanda Waller to kill the Man of Steel himself.
Why, you may ask? In the trailer, we get to see him with threatening laser eyes, which effectively means that this game’s version of Superman has no interest in defending the city. It seems like he plans to burn it to the ground.
In the trailer, we see the first encounter of the Squad and their target, evil Superman, but they don’t know that there’s something wrong with him at this moment. Harley calls him a show-off when she sees him with a pilot in his hands. The baddies think that the superhero has just saved yet another person, but they quickly realize that this isn’t what’s happening, when the Kryptonian burns the poor man alive right then and there.
When Boomerang finally understands who their target is going to be, all he says is “Fu…”. Well, it’s impossible to disagree here.
The game is going to be released on PC, XBox Series X, and PlayStation 5 in 2022, and we already can’t wait.
